Counsellors

Are you a counsellor that might be interested in working at Connections?

Join the team at Connections Counselling CIC

Connections Counselling CIC was created from both personal experience and professional training, recognising that parts of the counselling profession can be inaccessible, isolating and financially restrictive for both clients and practitioners. We believe counselling should be more accessible, more connected and more reflective of the values it seeks to promote. As a Community Interest Company, our purpose is social impact. Any surplus generated is reinvested into increasing access to counselling, supporting our community and developing the organisation for the benefit of clients and counsellors alike. Our work is guided by seven core values. These values shape everything we do, from our client-centred pricing model to the way we support counsellors within the organisation.

Connections is more than a standard counselling agency or room rental service. We are building a counselling community where practitioners can feel supported, connected and valued. Alongside referrals, we offer opportunities for collaboration, peer support, professional development and shared learning. We welcome counsellors from a range of modalities who share our commitment to ethical, relational and accessible counselling. If our values resonate with you, we'd love to hear from you.

Connections operates as a lean, not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), committed to balancing accessibility with ensuring our counsellors receive fair payment for the valuable work they do. Connections operates as a lean, not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), committed to balancing accessibility with ensuring our counsellors receive fair payment for the valuable work they do. We ask only for the minimum contributions needed to sustain our service because we believe that access to counselling should not be determined by financial circumstances alone.

To make this possible, we rely on funding and donations to support those who otherwise could not afford counselling. Whether through a one-off gift or a regular contribution, your support helps us provide opportunities for people to access the care they need and take meaningful steps towards positive change.

There is something special about helping another person find support when they need it most. It is a quiet form of connection — one that asks for nothing in return, yet can mean everything to someone else. Although those who benefit may never thank you in person, please know that your generosity matters deeply. On their behalf, thank you.

Every £600 raised provides 15 counselling sessions for people who otherwise can't access support.

If you’d like to contribute to our Community Rate programme and help offer counselling, then we deeply appreciate your support.
